How will I know if I have been accepted?

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Further information on camp logistics (dorm locations, itineraries, directions, etc.) will be e-mailed to you at a later date to the e-mail address you provide during the registration process.

My camper is too advanced/not advanced enough for her age group. What can I do?

Upon arrival, campers will be placed in groups dependent on age separation. From there, camp instructors will make changes as needed to place campers in a situation that is safest for their playing ability. Further concerns can be addressed by e-mailing virginiasoftballcamps@virginia.edu

What should I bring?

Remember to label all items!

Bat
Cleats
Tennis/turf shoes
Fielding glove
Batting helmet
Catcher's glove (as needed)

What if the camper gets sick or injured during camp?

An athletic trainer will be on site for the duration of camp and is prepared to deal with all emergencies that may arise.
