US Fastpitch Camps returns to the warm weather state of Arizona where players will have an incredible opportunity to train daily at Kiwanis Park Rec Center in Tempe, AZ. Just added to the Instructor line up, Julie Smith, Olympic Gold Medal Player!
Julie Smith, a decorated softball player at the collegiate, national and international level, Smith was the starting second baseman on the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team that captured the gold medal in Atlanta. She also was a member of two World Championship teams and three Pan American squads that earned gold medals. Julie will be a guest instructor joining us for one day of this incredible camp!
Every player age 9-18 has the opportunity to take her game to the next level. With 30+ hours of professional instruction, each player will come work on the five tools of softball. Hitting, hitting for power, speed, throwing & fielding. More fastpitch softball in a week then you have ever done in your life!
CHECK OUT OUR ONE DAY HITTING AND PITCHING CAMPS! We will be conducting an extensive hitting and pitching camps on December 26th from 10:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm for anyone wanting to take their hitting and pitching skills to the next level. We will cover every aspect of hitting and pitching and these camps are a great way to kick off the week. You can sign up for this option on the registration page.
•Up to 30+ hours of elite, professional instruction

•Position specific instruction with verbal assesment of skills throughout camp
What will I learn at this camp? As a player you will be evaluated by a professional eye and receive hands on, intense softball training. Our goal as a staff is to provide you with the tools to better your game, increase your knowledge, skill and confidence and assist in getting you to the next level of play and beyond.
•Stance, Balance and swing plane for hitting
•Mental preparation and Hitting Philosophy
•Hand-eye coordination drills
•Opposite field hitting
•Hitting with two strikes - Hitting Off-speed pitches
•Situational hitting including Bunting
•Infield play-corner play & middle infield play
•Outfield play - including throwing from the outfield
•Windmill Pitching mechanics
•Catcher Skills - receiving, blocking, throwing & more
•Daily scrimmage games
Each camper should wear comfortable workout clothing (t-shirt, shorts, sweat pants etc.) for each session. Additionally, campers should bring a glove, bat, helmet, kneepads, visor, and cleats. USFC will supply all necessary equipment for the clinic except the items listed above and/or catcher's gear. Be sure to mark all equipment so it can be easily identified.

US Fastpitch Camps provides elite softball camps and fastpitch clinics nationwide. Softballcamps.com has put together some of the up-to-date softball training camps available today. As a student athlete, you can expect a complete, competitive softball camp experience while learning from and practicing with world-class coaches and players.
Whether you are a first-time softball player in need of the basics of pitching and hitting; or you are an elite college-bound athlete preparing for the tough college circuit, US Fastpitch Camps offers instruction for all levels of play - from the short game to the long ball, from mental toughness to conditioning.
IMPORTANT: please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Overnight Campers check in at the Radisson Hotel between 4:00pm & 5:00pm on December 26th (Hitting campers check in around 9:00am and pitching campers check in by 1:00pm). Follow signs to check in location (ask the front desk if you cannot locate the room). Day Campers check in at Kiwanis Park Rec Center by 8:30am on the 27th (hitting campers check in by 9:30am on the 26th as the hitting camp will begin at 10:00am).

We will provide three meals a day for overnight players and lunch will be catered in the dining hall each day for both the day and overnight players.

Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information
We do provide airport pick-up and drop-off at the Phoenix - Sky Harbor International Airport. You can sign up for this option on the registration page.
USFC merchandise will be available for sale each day of camp.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
