The Highlander Softball Camps are staffed by UC Riverside coaches and players. We pride ourselves in playing the game the right way.
This clinic provides instruction on hitting, pitching and defense to improve softball skills, knowledge and ability to execute.
Aspiring young athletes wanting to
play fastpitch softball at a higher level will
benefit from the knowledge and experience of
Division I college coaches and players.
Pitchers Session: 09:00am-11:00am ..... $50.00
Hitting Session: 11:30am-01:30pm ..... $50.00
Defense Session: 02:00pm-04:00pm ..... $50.00
LEARN the fundamentals of hitting with Coach Chez & Coach Stuart. The
coaches will teach campers UCR's offensive strategy and routines.
EXPERIENCE pitching with a former USA National Team player, Coach
Cox. Coach Cox will help build a solid foundation for pitching and consistency.
DEVELOP your infield skills with Coach Chez & Coach Stuart. Improve
your range and glove work.
DIVE into the outfield with Coach Garza and discover new drills to improve
2-6 Hours of elite professional instruction

What to bring:
Clinic participants must bring all
necessary equipment, glove, helmet, bat, cleats. What you use for hitting & defense.
Amy S. Harrison Softball Field, Grandstand seating for 600 spectators was completed in the Spring of 2004 thanks to a generous donation from UCR alumna and UCR Athletics Hall of Famer Amy S. Harrison, who played collegiate softball on the same field. Other recent improvements include the placement of over 100 tons of dirt to create a top notch infield and warning track which will hold up under all weather conditions.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Our camp is open to any and all entrants.
Check-in: 30 minutes prior to the sessions start time.
Camp Waiver Information
Information & Medical Release Form will be attached to your e-mail confirmation. It is also available in this camp listing.
Please print, fill out, sign and deliver this form to the registration check in on the first day of camp.
Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be provided during camp. In the event of an emergency the EMS will be called.

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
