Five Panthers earn All-Conference honors

In exclusive 2011 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) voting by the league's head coaches, five Birmingham-Southern softball players earned All-Conference honors, the league office announced today.

Junior Ashley Bice (SS) and sophomore Danielle Rucker (OF) earned First-Team nods, while junior Ronni Ferris (P) and sophomore Brittany Berkopec (3B) were named Second-Team, and sophomore Chelsea Fernandez (2B) was named Honorable Mention.
