The Coaching Staff at SJU is dedicated to the development and growth of softball players of all ages and skill levels. We are committed to providing a positive and instrumental learning experience for our camp.

Welcome to the Saint Joseph's University Softball Winter Prospect Camp!
This camp is designed with an advanced skill set in mind. The SJU Coaching Staff and current team set out to conduct a high energy environment, with in-depth instructions and advanced drills to help take your game to the next level. A cap at 50 campers is to ensure a low player to coach ratio.
Camp Staff will consist of SJU Coaches and current SJU Softball Players
07:45am- 08:00am PITCHING REGISTRATION CHECK IN
08:00am- 09:00am PITCHING PORTION (bring your own catcher) Come here early to get warm and throw a complete bullpen to the current SJU Softball Team. The environment will be game like with focus on game strategy and execution.
08:30am- 09:00am ...REGISTRATION CHECK-IN
09:00am-10:00am ...DEFENSIVE PORTION - Position specific instructors with a focus on fundamentally sound throwing mechanics, glove-work and efficient footwork.
10:00am-11:00am ...OFFENSIVE PORTION This session will provide an overview of offensive mechanics and strategy that includes instructional drills focusing on improving bat path and increasing power.
11:00am-12:00pm ... COMPETITION PORTION Learn how to compete like a HAWK.
12:00pm ... CLINIC CONCLUDED

In accordance with NCAA guidelines, SJU Clinics are open to all entrants, limited only by specified number, age, and/or grade level of its participants.
CHECK IN: Participants are asked to begin checking in no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
MEALS: Lunch will NOT be provided.

From the North: N.J. Turnpike to Exit 6 (Pa. Turnpike connector). Follow Pa. Turnpike to Exit 20 (Rt. 476). Follow 476 South to Rt. 76 East, towards Philadelphia. Follow Rt. 76 East to Exit 339 (Rt. 1 South, City Avenue). Turn left on 54th Street and turn right into parking lot. Arena is on the left.
From the East: Take either the Ben Franklin Bridge (via Rt. 676) or the Walt Whitman Bridge. Follow Rt. 76 West to Exit 339 (Rt. 1 South, City Avenue). Turn left on 54th Street and then right into parking lot. Arena is on the left.
From the South: I-95 North to 476 North. Follow 476 North to Exit 5 (Rt. 1). Follow Rt. 1 North to SJU, approximately 10 miles. Turn right on 54th Street and turn right into parking lot. Arena is on the left.
From the West: Pa. Turnpike to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Follow Rt. 76 East, towards Philadelphia, to Exit 339 (Rt. 1 South, City Avenue). Turn left on 54th Street and turn right into parking lot. Arena is on the left.
From the Airport: I-95 North to Rt. 76 West. Follow Rt. 76 West to Exit 339 (Rt. 1 South, City Avenue). Turn left on 54th Street and turn right into parking lot. Arena is on the left.
What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
