Softball Camps are held at Matador Diamond, with a seating capacity of 1,000, is the site of all home Cal State University Northridge softball games. Northridge Softball Camps, held on the campus of California State University Northridge, are dedicated to providing a softball camp that is both instructional and information along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!

The coaching staff here at Cal State Northridge prides itself on teaching the game of softball to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

Our camps are held at beautiful Matador Diamond here at California State University Northridge. Our camps are a hands-on experience for the softball players.

Camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Northridge Elite Skills Camp II

This camp is for the elite and experienced ball player. This camp will feature competitive instruction, game repetitions and exposure while working directly with the CSUN coaching staff and players. The morning session will consist of throwing challenges and infield and outfield competitions and reps. Pitchers and catchers will have a circuit and challenges to show their skills as well as gain some feedback on spin and speed and drills for improving both. Afternoon session will be a college level hitting circuit and competition. The day will end with live reps and rotations to show skills in game like setting as well as receive game situational learning. 


There will be water and athletic trainers on site. Please bring your own equipment and lunch for the day!


Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Campers should wear softball pants. Catchers must bring their own gear. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.


Check-in: Check-in begins at 30 minutes prior to camp session time


Waiver Information: Please read, fill out completely, and bring signed form to the registration check in. Link to form will be available on your registration confirmation email.


Parking Information

For parking on campus you will need a parking pass to park in Lot F5 which is located just south of the soccer stadium. Daily parking passes are available at the kiosk for $6.00.


Meals : Lunch is on your own. Water provided but please bring your own jug as well.


Accommodations : This is day camp only. No overnight option available.


Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information: Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for their own transportation.


Refund Policy: No refunds will be provided for this event.
