The Winter Hitting Camp is designed for those advanced players who have an interest in playing softball at a higher level. Campers will work to enhance all areas of hitting, bunting, and slapping. The first half of camp will be focused on mechanics, while the second half will deal with ways to improve bat speed, pitch recognition, and hand-eye coordination. Campers will be divided into groups, each with a leader, so that they may receive as much individual attention as possible.
Due to space restrictions, camp will be limited to 65 participants.
Camp Staff: Campers will receive instruction from the Lipscomb Softball Coaches and players.
Equipment: Each player should bring the following to camp: Batting Helmet, Batting Gloves, Glove, Bat, Sweats, Athletic Clothing, turf or tennis shoes.
*Per NCAA rules, a member institution's sports camp or clinic shall be open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
Camp registration will take place 30 minutes prior to the start of camp in the lobby of McQuiddy Gym, which is located next to Allen Arena.

The Winter Hitting Camp will be held in McQuiddy Gym. This gym is located on the top level/through the main entrance of Allen Arena off of Granny White Pike.

Campers may bring snacks and drinks for short breaks. Water will be provided.
This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
No refunds or camp credits will be given if cancelled within 48 hours of camp.
Lipscomb University athletic trainers will be on-site in the event of any injuries.
