Pitching/Catching Camp

This Pitching/Catching Camp will feature the strategies and mechanics taught by the Lipscomb coaching staff. Camp will cover the fundamentals of pitching and catching, as well as pitch calling strategies and the mental game. Catchers should be prepared to catch pitchers near the end of camp. Camp staff will include the Lipscomb coaching staff and players.


Required materials: glove, cleats, turfs or tennis shoes, and catching equipment for the catchers.


Camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, and grade level.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.



Camp registration will take place 30 minutes prior to the start of camp at Draper Diamond at Smith Stadium.

All softball camps will be held at Draper Diamond at Smith Stadium located on Belmont Boulevard on Lipscomb's Campus.

Campers may bring snacks and drinks for short breaks; water will be provided.



This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.


Miscellaneous Information

No refunds or camp credits will be given if cancelled within 48 hours of camp.


Lipscomb University athletic trainers will be on-site in the event of any injuries.


In case of inclement weather, camp will be held in McQuiddy Gymnasium
