Summer Elite Day Camp I

The College of Charleston Softball Program is happy to announce the opening of our Summer Elite Camp season. There will be a second camp on July 11, that registration will open up soon!
This camp will offer both instructional sessions as well as live games! There will be an All Skills session to start the day, then an Offensive Session before the lunch break.
After lunch, campers will work in their specific position groups before playing two games. Games will be played on the CofC Baseball field and the CofC Softball field, each player will play on both fields.
Each camp participant will play in two live games and will play their primary position and secondary as the games allow. The CofC Coaching Staff as well as the guest college coaches will be watching and evaluating participants throughout the camp and in the games. Here will be the anticipated breakdown for the day (times and events may be subject to change).

Each camp will have a cut-off of 70 players to ensure each participant gets the unique opportunity for maximum exposure and developmental time with the CofC Coaching Staff and the other college coaches represented at the camp. Campers are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible as space will be limited!
Limits for Primary Positions:
8 Catchers, 1B, 2B, 3B
10 Short Stops
Each camper must bring their own equipment. Players should bring their glove, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, sun protection, helmet, bat, batting gloves, drink bottle and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own equipment. Please mark camper's names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.
Registration check-in is at 9:00am.

Proceed east on Highway 17 North over the Arthur Ravenel Bridge over Cooper River/harbor. Toward end of bridge bear right (Hwy. 703/Coleman Blvd.) and remain in the right lane. Go 0.3 miles to the first traffic light, turn right onto Patriots Point Blvd. Go approximately 0.3 miles to CofC Athletics Complex on left.
From Mt. Pleasant
From Highway 17 South, turn left onto Magrath Darby Blvd, continue through the intersection (Patriots Point Blvd.) and the CofC Athletics Complex will be on left
From all areas north/west of Charleston, SC
Take Interstate 26-East to exit 220 to Mt. Pleasant/Hwy. 17 North. Toward end of Arthur Ravenel Bridge, bear right and remain in the right lane. Go 0.3 miles to the first traffic light, turn right onto Patriots Point Blvd. Go approximately 0.3 miles to CofC Athletics Complex on left.
From all areas south of Charleston, SC
Follow Highway 17 North through city of Charleston toward Mt. Pleasant. Merge onto Highway 17 via Exit 220 B toward Mt. Pleasant/Georgetown. Go 0.3 miles to the first traffic light, turn right onto Patriots Point Blvd. Go approximately 0.3 miles to CofC Athletics Complex on left.
Pizza lunch will be provided for free. If pizza is not desired, please feel free to bring your own lunch.
This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
Camp merchandise will be available for purchase.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
