Carter Named Head Softball Coach
  Notre Dame de Namur University and Athletic Director Josh Doody have announced the hiring of Ashley Carter as head softball coach. Carter comes to NDNU after spending last season as an Assistant Coach at Menlo College in Atherton. At Menlo, she helped the Oaks to their best season since 2002, finishing with a 30-20 record.

Prior to her stint at Menlo, Carter served as Head Coach at La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico for four seasons. While there, she led the team to four straight District Championships and two State Quarterfinals appearances.

Carter also serves as a club softball coach and spent a season as a Graduate Assistant at Grambling State in Louisiana. She played her college softball at Grambling State where she graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. After earning her undergraduate degree she went on to receive her Master's from Grambling State in Sports Management. Carter is also currently working towards her PhD from the University of New Mexico.

Welcome to Argonauts Softball Camps at Notre Dame de Namur University. NDNU Camps are designed to help improve the performance of softball players of all ages and skill levels. Players at all skills levels will be challenged with specific skill instruction and drill work. Our softball camps are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by the college coaching staff, and in some cases the college student-athletes. The ultimate goal of our camps are to develop community and to showcase the college experience to potential prospects.


All camps are on a first come first serve basis and range in age. Check specific dates to determine which camp better fits your age and skill level. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time, please check back to the site occasional for new dates.
